Gate 31, the Gate of Influence, is located in the Throat Center within the Human Design System. It is known as the gate of the elected leader — one who is chosen by the people and represents them. People with this gate often possess a natural charisma that draws others to their ideas and perspectives, with the talent to articulate complex concepts in ways that are easily understandable and persuasive.

People with Gate 31 defined have the gift of natural charisma and the ability to inspire and motivate groups, making them effective leaders and communicators.
